The Audio Technica ATH-R70x is the company's flagship pro open headphone. Much like the ATH-M70x, the R70x is designed as a reference headphone but the open-back design will be more comfortable for longer listening sessions and weighs only 210 grams! Why choose an open back headphone over a closed back headphone? Because of the open design headphones seem to breath, and connect you more to the room rather than being isolated from from it.
